💰You're probably not as behind as you think

Hi there,
One of the worst things social media has done is convince people they're behind.
You open your phone and see 22-year-olds with exotic cars.
23-year-olds claiming to be millionaires. 24-year-olds buying mansions.
And after enough scrolling, it starts to feel like everyone is winning except you.
But here's what most people never stop to consider:
You're comparing your real life to someone else's highlight reel.
The average person isn't buying a house at 22.
They're not becoming a millionaire at 25. They're not retiring at 30.
In reality, most major financial milestones happen much later than social media would have you believe.
The average person doesn't build a meaningful net worth overnight. They spend years working, saving, investing, learning, making mistakes, and gradually improving their situation. The problem is that nobody posts that part.
They show the result. Not the decade that came before it.
I've seen countless examples of people projecting wealth online while privately struggling with debt, payments, and financial stress.
A luxury car doesn't always mean financial success.
Sometimes it just means a very large monthly payment.
When we're constantly exposed to unrealistic lifestyles, our expectations start to shift. Normal progress starts to feel inadequate.
Someone making steady progress toward their goals suddenly feels "behind" because they aren't living a lifestyle that very few people can actually sustain.
The truth is, real wealth is usually much less exciting.
It's investing consistently. It's increasing your skills.
It's staying disciplined when nobody is watching.
It's building a life brick by brick.
I became a millionaire relatively young. But what people don't see are the years before that. The first jobs. The side hustles. The books. The failures. The weekends spent learning instead of partying.
Every success story has a process behind it. Social media just skips to the ending.
So if you're in your 20s or 30s and still figuring things out, don't panic.
Don't compare your chapter three to someone else's highlight reel.
Focus on learning. Focus on consistency.
Focus on becoming a little better each year.
Because real wealth isn't built in a viral moment.
It's built through years of quiet effort that eventually compounds into something extraordinary.
