Hi there,
For most of my life, I thought I hated reading. School made it feel like a chore.
We were forced to study things we didn’t care about, memorize information we’d forget, and read books that felt completely disconnected from real life.
So I assumed learning just… wasn’t for me.
Then in college, I picked up a copy of How to Win Friends and Influence People. And honestly, it changed everything. For the first time, I realized there were books out there that were actually useful.
Books that taught you how people think.
How to communicate better.
How to build relationships.
How to improve your life.
I wasn’t reading because I had to anymore. I was reading because I was curious. That one book completely shifted my mindset. It opened the door to personal development, business, psychology, money, and self-education. After that, I started ordering books constantly. I became obsessed with learning in a way I never was in school.
And that’s when I realized something important:
Learning doesn’t have to be boring. It can be practical. Useful. Exciting.
It can directly improve your income, your confidence, your relationships, and your future.
That single shift changed the trajectory of my life more than most classes ever did. Because once you learn how to learn for yourself, everything compounds.
You ask better questions. You make better decisions. You grow faster.
Sometimes the best investment isn’t expensive.
Sometimes it’s just one book that changes the way you think forever.
