💰Why $100K is the hardest milestone

Hi there,
I wish more people understood this: your first $100,000 is the hardest money you’ll ever make. Not because it’s impossible. But because it requires the most effort, discipline, and patience upfront.
I’ve got multiple millions invested now, and I’m not saying that to impress you. I’m saying it because I’ve seen this play out firsthand.
That first $100K? That’s the real battle. Here’s why.
Once you hit $100,000, something shifts.
Even if you never add another dollar, your money can double to $200K in about 7 years just from compounding. From there, it speeds up.
$200K → $400K happens faster.
$400K → $800K happens even faster.
At that point, your money starts doing the heavy lifting. Which is why I always say: getting to $100K is harder than getting to $1M.
But most people get this completely backwards.
They say, “I’ll start investing when I make more money.”
That’s the trap. Because the game isn’t about how much you invest at the end.
It’s about how early and how consistently you start.
A 20-year-old investing small amounts consistently will often beat someone older investing twice as much. Time matters more than intensity. That’s how you end up with teachers, janitors, and everyday people quietly becoming millionaires.
Not by getting lucky. Not by chasing trends. But by showing up… over and over again.
If you’re trying to figure out how to actually get to that first $100K, I’ve broken it down step-by-step in my guide.
You can start here: your path to your first $100K
It walks you through exactly how to save, invest, and build momentum early.
Because once you hit that number, everything gets easier.
If you haven’t started yet, this is your sign to begin: build your first $100K here
No timing the market. No overthinking. Just consistency.
Because wealth isn’t built in one big moment. It’s built quietly… until one day, it compounds.
