💰The millionaire lesson nobody agrees with

Hi there,

By the time I was 25, my net worth had crossed $1 million.

Not because I sold a startup. Not because I inherited money.

And definitely not because I was doing ten different things at once.

In fact, one of the biggest lessons I learned sounds completely backwards: Put all of your eggs in one basket. I know. That goes against almost every piece of financial advice you hear online. But here's what I've noticed: the people who build significant wealth rarely start by spreading themselves thin.

They become obsessed with one thing.

One skill. One business. One career path. One opportunity.

Long enough to become exceptional at it.

Most people never get there because they're constantly switching lanes.

They start a side hustle, then jump to another one.

They start investing, then get distracted by crypto.

They start creating content, then move to the next platform before seeing results.

The problem isn't lack of opportunity. It's lack of focus.

When I was building my career, there were countless things I could have pursued. But the biggest breakthroughs came when I doubled down on what was already working instead of chasing something new. That's why "Put all of your eggs in one basket" is only half the lesson.

The second half is: watch that basket closely.

Stay with it. Improve it. Learn everything you can about it.

Give it enough time to compound.

Because wealth is often created through concentration.

But here's where people get confused.

Once you've built wealth, the rules change.

That's when diversification becomes important.

Today, a large portion of my investments sit in broad index funds because I don't want my financial future tied to a single company, investment, or outcome.

You get rich through focus. You stay rich through diversification.

Most people try to diversify too early and end up mediocre at everything.

Instead, pick your basket. Commit to it.

And be willing to say no to almost everything else.

Because sometimes the fastest way forward isn't doing more.

It's focusing on less.
