💰Stop cutting expenses. Try this instead.

Hi there,
One thing I've noticed about personal finance advice is that it almost always comes down to the same thing.
Spend less. Stop buying coffee. Eat out less. Cancel your subscriptions.
And while I'm a big believer in spending intentionally, there's only so much you can cut from your budget.
At some point, you have to start thinking about how to make the money you already have work harder.
Let's say you've avoided unnecessary purchases, practiced delayed gratification, and worked hard to save $10,000. That's a huge accomplishment.
But what if that money is sitting in a traditional savings account earning just 0.01% interest?
You're making roughly $1 a year.
Now imagine moving that same $10,000 into a high-yield savings account (HYSA) earning 4% APY. That's approximately $400 in interest over a year (assuming the rate stays the same).
Same money. Same savings habits. Just a smarter place to keep it.
And that's something I wish more people understood about building wealth.
You don't always need to earn more or sacrifice more to improve your finances.
Sometimes, you just need to make better decisions with what you already have.
That's why I'm such a big fan of HYSAs for emergency funds and short-term savings.
They typically offer higher interest rates than traditional savings accounts, while keeping your money accessible.
Of course, rates can change, so it's worth comparing your options.
If you haven't checked what your savings account is paying lately, I'd encourage you to take a few minutes and find out.

Because building wealth isn't about depriving yourself of everything you enjoy.
It's about being intentional with your money. And if you've already done the hard work of saving it, you might as well give it the opportunity to grow.
