šŸ’°Building wealth on a minimum wage

Hi there,

Building wealth in North America right now can feel impossible.

Rent is high. Groceries are expensive. Insurance, gas, and bills keep going up. And when you’re making minimum wage or close to it, it can feel like you’re barely staying afloat.

But here’s something I’ve learned: a lot of people don’t stay broke because they earn too little. They stay broke because they never build the habits that create momentum.

If I had to start over on minimum wage, here’s exactly what I’d focus on:

First, avoid the traps.

  • Avoid high-interest debt.
  • Avoid financing things you don’t need.
  • Avoid trying to look rich.

A car payment, constant takeout, impulse shopping, and credit card debt can quietly keep you stuck for years. The goal early on is not to impress people. It’s to create breathing room.

Second, capitalize on skills.

Your income usually follows your value. Learn skills that can increase your earning potential:

  • Sales
  • Communication
  • Marketing
  • Content creation
  • Tech skills

Most of these can be learned online for free now. One valuable skill can completely change your financial trajectory over the next few years.

Third, build discipline.

This is the hardest part. Building wealth often means sacrificing short-term comfort for long-term freedom.

  • Saving money when everyone else is spending.
  • Investing when you feel like you “don’t have enough.”
  • Staying patient while things compound.

But this is exactly how people quietly change their lives financially. And once you start building momentum, everything gets easier.

If you want a step-by-step breakdown on saving, investing, and building your first $100K, I put everything together in my guide. Download it for free here.
