💰I Spent $10 and Earned a Million

Hi there,

I always hated textbooks. I hated school, and reading, and cramming my head with information I’ll never use again.

What I do enjoy is applying things in real life. So when I first picked up a $10 copy of How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie in college, I wasn’t too excited. But when I began seeing the measurable differences it made in my life, the game changed for me.

Changing my perspective on learning during my college years was the reason I became a millionaire.

More often than not, kids suffer through a formal education without actually learning anything. The system is designed to generate replaceable and replicable corporate moulds. But we can easily flip that script.

Knowledge is power (and money), and it all comes from enjoying learning. You need to want to learn. You need to fall in love with learning. And that is how you will grow your mindset, your career or business, and your wealth.

For me, this meant advancing my skillset and my knowledge through self-help books. Here are my top picks that could help you, too:

  1. The Almanack of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson
  2. Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike by Phil Knight
  3. Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
  4. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki
  5. How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
  6. A Beginner's Guide To Investing by Milan Singh

And if reading isn’t your thing, don’t worry. There are tons of ways to acquire knowledge - listen to a podcast, speak to a mentor, or take an online course, all of which will help you stretch and grow the one muscle you need the most - your brain.
